The companies concluded sale and purchase agreement for 50% equity share of Meretoyakhaneftegaz LLC, a Gazprom Neft wholly owned subsidiary. The contract was signed as part of creating a joint venture to develop a large oil and gas cluster in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District. The transaction is planned to be completed in 2022 after fulfilment of a number of conditions precedent​.

​LUKOIL's oil production at its Caspian Vladimir Filanovsky field exceeded 30 million tonnes. The Company also completed the second stage of development of the Yury Korchagin and continues development of its​ third Caspian field – the Valery Grayfer field. ​

​LUKOIL and Rusatom Overseas JSC signed a memorandum of intent on the development of cooperatio​n regarding production and supply of green hydrogen for PETROTEL-LUKOIL S.A. refinery located in Romania. 

President of PJSC LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and Governor of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District Dmitry Artyukhov met today in Moscow to sign an additional cooperation agreement for 2022. ​

Vagit Alekperov and Alexey Miller discussed relevant cooperation issues. Among other things, they touched upon current situation and development prospects for Vaneyvisskoye and Layavozhskoye fields in the Nenets Autonomous District​. Gazprom has transferred its subsoil use license for the area that includes the Vaneyvisskoye and Layavozhskoye fields to its jount venture with LUKOIL.

PJSC LUKOIL, together with the concession holder for the head section of the M11 “Neva” highway – North-West Concession Company LLC (NWCC) – and with support of Russia Highways State Company (Avtodor), commissioned pioneer filling stations at the Moscow – Saint Petersburg autoroute. ​
