11/12/2006 - LUKOIL AND SAINT-PETERSBURG GOVERNMENT OUTLINED MAJOR COORPERATION AREAS FOR 2007

Today Vagit Alekperov, President of OAO LUKOIL, and Valentina Matvienko, Governor of Saint-Petersburg, signed a Protocol to Cooperation Agreement between the city and the Company dated April 22, 2004.

05/12/2006 - LUKOIL FIXED OFFERING COMMENCEMENT DATE OF NON-CONVERTIBLE INTEREST-BEARING DOCUMENTARY BONDS TO BEARER

In accordance with the instructions of the Board of Directors of OAO LUKOIL President of OAO LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov fixed the bond offering commencement date of LUKOIL non-convertible interest-bearing documentary bonds to bearer with nominal value RUR 1,000 each, totalling 8,000,000 bonds, with maturity of 5 years on 14 December 2006.

05/12/2006 - LUKOIL PROVED CONFORMITY OF COMPANY’S CERTIFICATES FOR SAFETY MANAGEMENT, LABOR AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SYSTEMS WITH INTERNATIONAL ISO 14001 AND OHSAS 18001 STANDARDS

The third compliance audit of Safety Management, Labor and Environmental Protection Systems was held in OAO LUKOIL, with its aim being to determine conformity of the Company’s systems with ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:1999 requirements.

OAO LUKOIL was the one to top the Corporate Responsibility Rating among Russian oil companies. The rating was conducted by the Institute for Social and Ethic AccountAbility (AccountAbility, Great Britain), Сsrnetwork British consulting group and “Delovaya Kultura” International Project Office (Russia) supported by PricewaterhouseCoopers International.

A meeting of OAO LUKOIL Board of Directors was held in Moscow today to approve the Regulations on long-term incentives for employees of OAO LUKOIL and its subsidiaries.
