LUKOIL is one of the largest oil & gas vertical integrated companies in the world accounting for over 2% of crude production and circa 1% of proved hydrocarbon reserves globally.
The Agreement stipulates partnership of the parties under the applicable law aimed at creating favorable conditions for development of mineral resources base, also by allocating more funds for exploration and development of hydrocarbon reserves and by increasing oil and gas production. LUKOIL and its subsidiaries also intend to take the necessary measures to utilize associated oil gas in accordance with license agreements most efficiently.
Today in LUKOIL’s head office in Moscow sponsorship agreements were signed anchoring support of the Company for Russian professional sports teams and organizations.
Over the first 10 months of 2005 3.2 mln tons of oil and 9.4 mln tons of petroleum products (3.5 mln tons of oil and 5.7 mln tons of petroleum products in the corresponding period in 2004) were transported by water traffic through marine and river oil terminals of the LUKOIL Group organizations.

The trading volume of the LUKOIL securities on the London stock exchange was USD 4.657 bln in October 2005.
