LUKOIL completed post-accident damage control on the Kolva River after the oil-containing fluids leak from a non-functioning pipeline at the Kharyaginskoye field.

Administration of Usinsk (the Republic of Komi) issued a decree revoking the municipal state of emergency in the Usinsk urban district starting at 6:30 p.m. on October 23, 2020. The state of emergency had been introduced because of the loss of piping integrity of a non-functioning pipeline at the Kharyaginskoye field and an ensuing leakage of oil-containing fluids into the Kolva River.

Administration of the Nenets Autonomous District issued a decree revoking the state of emergency in the Zapolyarny municipality, which had been declared because of the oil-containing fluids leak from a non-functioning pipeline at the Kharyaginskoye field.

Head of the Republic of Komi Vladimir Uyba and representatives of Rosprirodnadzor and LUKOIL met in Syktyvkar today to discuss the ongoing damage control after the oil-containing fluids spill in the Kolva River.
