22/08/2017 - LUKOIL LAUNCHES MAIN PRODUCTION FACILITIES AT GISSAR, UZBEKISTAN

LUKOIL has reached a progress milestone at its South-West Gissar project in Uzbekistan as it successfully launched the main production and process facilities there. Gas production at the Gissar fields cluster reached planned production level of 14 million cubic meters a day, or 5 billion cubic meters per year.

15/08/2017 - LUKOIL REPORTS PRELIMINARY OPERATING DATA FOR THE SECOND QUARTER AND FIRST SIX MONTHS OF 2017

LUKOIL Group’s daily hydrocarbon production excluding West Qurna-2 project for the first six months of 2017 increased by 1.5% year-on-year to 2,217 thousand boe per day. In the second quarter of 2017 production was 2,222 thousand boe per day, representing a 0.4% growth quarter-on-quarter.

07/08/2017 - LUKOIL SUPPORTS FIRST ENVIRONMENTAL EXPEDITION TO VILKITSKY ISLAND IN THE ARCTIC OCEAN

LUKOIL supported an environmental expedition to scavenge Vilkitsky Island in the east of the Kara Sea. Scavenging of the northern territories is LUKOIL’s contribution to the state-run program aimed to remedy the environmental damage accumulated in the Arctic region during the Soviet period.

28/07/2017 - LUKOIL APPLIES NEW TECHNIQUE OF GEOPHYSICAL SURVEYING IN TIMAN-PECHORA

LUKOIL has successfully completed a 3D seismic survey at Mishvan area in the Nenets Autonomous District. The company used a survey procedure which had never been used in Timan-Pechora Oil and Gas Province before.

26/07/2017 - SEVEN MILLION TONNES OF POLYETHYLENE PRODUCED AT LUKOIL STAVROLEN PLANT

LUKOIL has reached another milestonnee with seven million tonnes of polyethylene produced at Stavrolen, the company’s major petrochemical facility. A large-scale modernization, begun at Stavrolen six years ago and still underway, aims to upgrade the production process and diversify the product range by means of introducing more marketable items.

18/07/2017 - LUKOIL AND VORONEZH REGION SIGN ADDENDUM TO COOPERATION AGREEMENT

President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and Governor of Voronezh Region Alexey Gordeyev signed an addendum to the earlier concluded agreement on cooperation between the company and the regional government, in Moscow today.

17/07/2017 - LUKOIL AND NENETS AUTONOMOUS OKRUG CONTINUE COOPERATION

A protocol to the Cooperation Agreement between LUKOIL and the Government of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug was signed in Moscow today. The document, covering the remainder of this year, envisages further interaction in such areas as geological surveys of the subsoil, production of oil and gas, supplies of petroleum products and development of the region’s production and social infrastructures.

14/07/2017 - LUKOIL RESTORES BIODIVERSITY IN RUSSIA WATER BODIES

As part of its program of environmental protection, LUKOIL is implementing an ambitious initiative aimed to restore Russia’s fish resources. Almost 90 million fry of commercially valuable fishes, including sturgeon, pike, pike perch and sterlet, will be released this year into rivers and water bodies in the areas of the company’s operations.
