PJSC "LUKOIL" announces that Citibank, N.A. has replaced The Bank of New York Mellon as depositary for the Company's Rule 144A and Level I American Depositary Receipt ("ADR") programs, effective as of April 19, 2017.

LUKOIL will spend more than 500 million rubles to implement the environmental program in the region, which includes systematic monitoring of natural environment components, efforts to reduce air emissions and volumes of natural water intake, to restore disturbed land and to raise the level of associated petroleum gas utilization.

LUKOIL commenced transportation of the topside of a fixed offshore ice-resistant platform (LSP-2), intended for Phase 2 of Vladimir Filanovsky field in the Caspian Sea. Phase 2 of Vladimir Filanovsky field development provides for the construction of a fixed ice-resistant platform, an accommodation-topside platform and a crossover between the platforms, all being built at Astrakhan’s shipyards.

LUKOIL has completed a field 3D seismic survey at West Qurna-2 field in Iraq. The Company has fulfilled all of its contractual obligations to the Ministry of Oil of Iraq.

Students of the Sirius Educational Center and LUKOIL Group’s younger employees planted olive trees in Sochi. The olive- grove groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister for Social Issues Olga Golodets, Governor of the Krasnodar Region Veniamin Kondratyev, Mayor of Sochi Anatoly Pakhomov and Vice President of LUKOIL for HR Management and Security Anatoly Moskalenko. 

Epoxy, silicate and enamel coatings, reinforced polymeric and fiberglass materials will be applied on over 65% of LUKOIL’s modernized and new pipelines at potentially hazardous areas in 2017 to enhance corrosion resistance of pipes. Their service life will be extended by means of corrosion inhibitors and cathodic protection.

LUKOIL presented its environmental program and a booklet, ECOlogical Culture, as part of a roundtable discussion at Subsea Valley, one of Norway’s major industry conferences, in Oslo.

LUKOIL President Vagit Alekperov and Governor of the Astrakhan Region Alexander Zhilkin visited the region's shipyards where offshore facilities for the company's Caspian projects are under construction. Following the visit, Mr. Alekperov held a staff meeting with the managers of contractor organizations engaged in the construction of facilities in the Northern Caspian.

LUKOIL has reached a production landmark of 40 billion cubic meters of natural gas at its projects in Uzbekistan. LUKOIL is implementing two large-scale investment projects in Uzbekistan - Kandym-Khauzak-Shady and South-West Gissar - and remains the country's largest foreign investor.
