LUKOIL has finalized a transaction to purchase the remaining 20-percent share in the joint venture running the ISAB refinery, located in the vicinity of Priolo (Sicily), from the Italian ERG. Thus the company became the sole owner of the refinery.

LUKOIL has decided to expand its vetting-control system to cover all freight operations conducted in the American and Asian regions. Both tankers and non-self-propelled fuel barges will be subject to the corporate vetting control.

A pilot high-pressure (up to 200 atmospheres) hydro-process unit was commissioned at the LUKOIL-Nizhegorodniinefteproekt Research and Development Center (Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast).

LUKOIL has purchased 10 OERAL-branded automated filling stations in Belgium. These stations will be re-branded to comply with the LUKOIL corporate style and will be launched to the market under the “LUKOIL Express” name.
